Coach Spotlight: Morgan Hay
Let’s give a round of applause energy award to our Girls on the Run of the Greater Chesapeake Coach, Morgan Hay! Magnificent Morgan has been a coach with our council for 5 years, and her positive impact serves countless young girls. We’re so excited to spotlight her experience with our council, and we truly appreciate her dedication in supporting the program, and her dedication to the participants; who grow in confidence because of her generosity. 1. What drew you to the program?
I have a passion for running and helping young girls find their love of running!
2. Why do you think it's important for girls today to have access to this program?
Running is an excellent way to manage emotions and clear your mind, adding in the emotional and physical support of other girls can help them feel empowered and loved greatly!
3. What is a fun memory you'd love to share?
I love running with my girls at practice! It is always so fun to see them try their very hardest to accomplish their goal of beating me!
