New Team Member Spotlight!

Meet Girls on the Run of the Greater Chesapeake's Newest Team Member: Susana Centofonti!

1) How have you been involved with Girls on the Run?
I was a coach for a Washington County school for 4 years. I loved it so much, I expanded to work as the county coordinator for 3 years! Now I am so excited to be a part of the Greater Chesapeake council as the Eastern Shore Community Coordinator.

2) What drew you to the program to get involved now?
I was a teacher for young girls. I wanted to be a part of a program for after school hours. I fell in love with the program immediately.

3) Why do you think it's so important for girls today to have access to this program?
It empowers girls to be proud of who they are, that they have a voice and are in control of their decisions and who they want to be. It’s so important to learn that at a young age.

4) What are some of your hobbies or interests?
I love sharing fashion, reading, and the beach and Disney is my happy place.
