Fall 2025 Season Details

Our Fall 2025 season will run the week of September 16th ( H & S), September 22nd (GOTR) through late November.

Two girls
  • The Fall 2025 season will begin the week of September 16th for Heart and Sole. Girls on the Run practices will start on the week of September 22nd.
  • Program registration for particpants will be open August 23rd - September 11th. The computer generated lottery will be run on September 11th.
  • Heart & Sole consists of 8 - 20 girls led by at least 2 trained coaches that will meet twice a week for 75-90 minutes (for each lesson). An additional option for Heart & Sole (6th-8th grade teams) is our 1 day a week model for 2 hours each lesson for 10 weeks.
  • Girls on the Run consists of 8 - 20 girls led by at least 2+ trained coaches that will meet twice a week for 75-90 minutes (for each lesson) for 8 weeks.
  • The season-culminating 5K event will be on Sunday, November 23rd, 2025, at University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
  • Our local Eastern Shore 5K will be on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 at Pirates Wharf Park

The scholarship approval process is included in the online and paper registration process. Simply answer the scholarship questions during registration, and the computer will determine your eligibility and adjust the fee accordingly.

Registration Fees

Building confidence and a healthy lifestyle is PRICELESS! However, there are real costs associated with operating a non-profit organization and delivering the Girls on the Run program to 3rd-8th graders in the Anne Arundel, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Calvert, Charles, Kent, Caroline, Queen Anne's, Talbot, Somerset, Dorchester, Wicomico, Worcester, and St. Mary's Counties. Our participant registration is $175 and includes:

  •  20 seventy-five to ninety-minute sessions conducted by certified GOTR volunteer coaches
  • Curriculum and lesson materials including journal
  • Official Girls on the Run program t-shirt
  • GOTRGC participant 5K Registration fee
  • 5K Medal
  • 5K event experience and post 5K celebration
  • Coach support including volunteer training and certification
  • Program administration including insurance and membership dues to Girls on the Run International

Please note, GOTRGC particpants and coaches are registered for the 5K. 5K buddies will be asked to register for the 5K midway through the season.
