GOTRGC Board Member Spotlight: Mindi Imes

Mindi Imes, Board Member

1. What drew you to get involved with GOTRGC now?

As an educator and school leader, I’ve spent my career helping young people recognize their potential, build confidence, and develop the skills to lead. I’m excited to support an organization that empowers girls to discover their strength and realize what they can accomplish.

2. Why is it important for girls today to have access to this program?
Girls need opportunities to build confidence, develop resilience, support one another, and learn that their voices matter. Girls on the Run combines physical activity with social-emotional learning in a way that helps girls develop skills they can carry with them well beyond the program.

3. What are some of your hobbies or interests?
I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, staying active, and supporting opportunities that help young people grow into confident, compassionate leaders.
